Picturesque Spring Wedding Surrounded by Blue Ridge Mountain Vistas || Asheville, NC
Bringing together large groups of people can be daunting, particularly when planning a wedding in the middle of Covid not knowing what everyone’s exact circumstances might be. But when Amanda and Harrison’s families and friends came together for their wedding last month, I was struck by just how amiable every single guest and vendor was. Amanda’s bridal attendants especially were completely devoted to ensuring that the happy couple have the best (and smoothest) day ever. So I have to give a shoutout to that exceptional group of ladies for helping me to round up people for photos, for being conscious of time so that we remained on time to the minute all day long, and for putting together a really sweet getting ready playlist!
It’s been some years since I’ve photographed at Ridgeview Venue, so I was not quite prepared for the incredible blue hour view we were gifted for evening portraits. Or for the sheer number of fantastic photo locations - from in and around the adorable cottage and outside the beautifully dark barn, to the numerous nature and scenic spots - that helped me frame Amanda and Harrison’s happiest moments both with large groups of loved ones and in quiet times together.
I’m also excited to finally get to share a few favorites from Amanda’s bridal session in my studio, taken a few weeks before their wedding! I have to say, sitting on these colorful and elegant bridals was without a doubt the most difficult part of my whole experience with this sweet couple.
As I mentioned, this was one of the most on time events I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of, so I wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who came together to make this such a special day!
