Elegant Summer Sunset Wedding at The Crest Center & Pavilion || Asheville, NC

If we gave out superlatives for wedding couples rather than vendors, Laura and Gabe would definitely get “most welcoming.” Certainly from their loved ones - it seemed like everywhere they turned they threw their arms up, excited to hug another guest, almost all of whom traveled quite a distance to attend. In every single photo, I caught both Laura and Gabe with huge grins on their faces, making sure each person knew just how much their attendance meant to them.

From my team as well, Laura and Gabe are exactly the kind of couple who make this job not only rewarding, but so much fun. For their engagement session last summer we photographed in the rain (after getting rained out the first time!) and despite the conditions they laughed together the whole time, were totally up for any photos I had in mind and made it feel like I’d known them for ages.

For their wedding weekend, the forecast had been HOT for weeks, but they didn’t sweat it. So, of course, their wedding day dawned breezy and cool to gift us the loveliest summer day, the perfect day for their celebration. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives over the past year, and for letting me document your special day 💙
