Carolyn & Andrew’s Floral and Colorful May Wedding in Madisonville

As a wedding photographer whose goal is to capture each couples’ moments of joy and celebration with their loved ones, it’s especially easy to do when those loved ones are, in fact, your own family. Saturday I had the honor of not only watching my cousin marry the love of her life, but documenting our family share in that happiness as well; and any reason to capture joyful portraits of our grandparents is always a special one.

Both Carolyn’s and Andrew’s families came together to decorate the church, do hair and makeup, cook and bake for brunch, sing during their ceremony, plan the proceedings, and even arrange the beautiful bouquets. It truly was a family affair, showcasing just how much these two are surrounded by love, and I’m happy to have gotten to be a part of their special day as well! Thank you to everyone who put so much thought and effort into beginning Carolyn and Andrew’s marriage in the best way possible.
