First Round of Marketing and Mock-up Photos for Post-Biotic Protein Powder Brand

A half day (4 hour) photoshoot in the studio making the first round of styled and product photos for five different products for this nutrition-forward biotechnology company. The brand’s focus is on sustainability as well as delicious taste, so we used a mix of neutral backgrounds, simple ceramics, and tasty food for styling.

Styled Photos Highlighting Delicious Taste

As one of the main products was chocolate chip flavored protein cookies, our obvious main goal was to lean into the tried-and-true beloved comfort food that is cookies and milk. We made several plays on this theme to showcase the playfulness of the brand, that it isn’t just a stuffy wellness product.

Simple Photos Showcasing Natural Ingredients

With fruit-forward protein snacks, we next wanted to focus on the natural ingredients and natural flavors of each product. This included the actual fruits corresponding with their product flavors, and natural styling products like handmade ceramics and linen.

E-Commerce Photos for Products

Finally, this company needed mock-up photos to use for their trade shows, product designs, and general production conversations. We created several simple mockups showcasing the powder’s consistency against a standard butcher block kitchen backdrop.
